Bob showed up at 4:15 am to pick up Ernie to take him to St. Louis. God, I love him.
Ernie’s getting a scan and an MRI, aaaand they wanted their $700 co-pay upfront. Sigh. I’m glad he’s getting it all done though. I’ll relax once he’s home. I always think I’ll get lots done on days like today but sometimes I find it very hard to focus. And I seem to have reactivated my neck pain somehow. I don’t know what I did but it’s bothering me quite a bit again and I forget how tired it makes me. I can’t decide whether I should set my laptop on something for height on my desk at work so I don’t scrunch down to see it…then I guess I’d need a keyboard and mouse but I think I could scrounge those up. I was so happy to be mostly off the pain pills but I suppose I’m fortunate to have them when I need them. Anyway, if anyone has thoughts re: ergonomic use of laptop on a desk, let me know.
I might note that I am becoming more and more smitten with our beasts. Olney, like his namesake, is a character.
Honest to God, Olney’s legs are like tree trunks.
Here he was sulking a bit as I wouldn’t give him more cat treats.
And here’s sweet Sack with her tiny little perfect face.
And man, that’s all I’ve got. I’m not even going to subject you to more food pictures. Well, ok, maybe one.
And with that I’m completely out. Think good thoughts for Ernie’s scans. Think good thoughts for our country. Think good thoughts for yourself.
Onward. Because there’s no other way to go.
Love,
Cynthia
Prayers for Ernie’s scans. 🙏🏼 Love Olney and Sack. ❤️❤️
I think the pictures of the kids are great!! Sack and Olney are beautiful!!!!!!! Olney is SUPPOSED to be a character - just like his namesake.
