A rare selfie, showing off my new hearing aid and my scar from surgery. This is just in case if you wondered if the vanity train has passed me by. It has indeed. Although, I gotta say, glad we saw Vanity Six on Prince’s 1999 tour.
I was really anxious going to get the hearing aids. I’m not even sure why, but I was a nervous wreck. The audiologist is lovely however and it all went smoothly and I can control them with my phone!! I’m all agog at things I can now hear, like the keyboard tapping as I write this!
I’m always amazed/puzzled by the cavernous Carle at the Fields.
Then when we left, it was snowing! It was like a little gift for me.
Simple dinner. A sheet pan dinner (for those that like to make fun of them). Bratwurst, sweet potato, turnip and a few snow peas.
Leftovers for breakfast with egg on top.
Sorting through things I found a few of my favorite Mary Sack care package items. Of all the friends I have lost, Mary’s is in some way the hardest to wrap my head around. Play on. ❤️
Ernie finished his gingerbread for the party so the house smells lovely.
Onward—to Fats and Kristi Rose!
Love,
Cynthia
Can't wait to see you guys tonight, and we can compare hearing aids.
Very impressed with the ginger bread! Nice job, Ernie!!
