This might be the longest I’ve gone without a post in eons. If my sister Judi were still here she’d be nagging me to post an update. I am alive and I’m doing well. I can finally feel some improvement. I still get exhausted at the drop of a hat (hence being so quiet) but I can work for several hours without fading now so that’s progress!
We attempted a short wander last weekend. I admit we only got about half as far as I had planned before I suggested we head for home, but oh, it felt soooo good to be driving out in the country. I visited some old friends, stopped in Funk’s Grove for some of their maple sirup, and then had ice cream in Bloomington.
I’m still not up for writing much so I’ll just share some photos for now.
Ernie of course went for his beloved vanilla malt while I had a salted caramel cone—not too sweet, not too salty. Perfect. Ice cream, like life, is all about balance.
It seems to be a glorious year for hydrangeas, at least in my yard. I love this one that slowly turns a bit pink, I planted it for my sister Judi, who loved pink.
These guys wave in front of the media room window and they feel like such comforting and kind old friends.
The CSA life. I feel lucky to be at Sola Gratia.
Onward.
Love,
Cynthia
a beautiful eggplant, but I really love the old grey house with the white door. I want to look inside.
Glad to hear from you! Hope you continue to mend. Love the pics.
