I got lucky. I flirted with you because you were the cute blonde behind the record store counter. Not all cute blondes, behind record store counters or not, are keepers though. I got lucky. Because you are the best friend, husband, and father I could ever have dreamed of. The hard times and the good times have proved that, the hard times maybe even more. I’ll love you forever Ernie or Ernest (as you wrote on the Record Service receipt when you FINALLY figured out we needed to exchange numbers).
