GO ERNIE: Celebrate with Eric Brace and Thomm Jutz on April 5 at SLHC
20 years with cancer and going strong! GO ERNIE!
Our house concert is almost here! I’m in a relatively pleasant place in which I vacillate between worrying there won’t be enough folks and worrying there will be too many. See? I’m never happy. Or I just enjoy worrying. Who the hell knows but it will be a great evening regardless of any worrying I do.
Leo thoughtfully brought me a souvenir from London. A cold. Just a bit of one although I will test for COVID just to be polite. ALSO BECAUSE MY BELOVED TERI AND BRIAN HAVE COVID AND CAN’T COME! Not that I’ve seen them in quite some time, but I will test to make sure. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it. We will miss them greatly. Who’s going to take charge of the kitchen contingent? Boo? Are you up to it?
I’ve started cooking for tomorrow. I’m doing a stupid amount of pork (because, go on, say it with me, “You can feed a hell of a lot of people with a cheap cut of pork!”) with a sauce I made up, there will be a batch of brown rice with herbs and a big green salad. And of course folks will be bringing lots of other things. There are treats in our future!
I’ve been doing a lot of moving things from one column to another in my spread sheet but I think it will all be fine. Most people that come are used to our ramshackle house and live music makes dust disappear—I swear it does!
This is short as it’s just a reminder for the show. I’ll share a couple of photos as a treat.
I love those little lacy bits of egg white. Ernie the Eggmaster. ❤️
Why yes, I WILL order more Baker Creek Seeds just because of the gorgeous back of the mailer in which I received my seeds.
And in exciting news we have put our old failing tv out of its misery. Here it is earlier today.
And now the new tv! OMG! It’s so BRIGHT!!!
Ok, back to my spreadsheet!
Love,
Cynthia
It’s going to be great!! Congrats to Ernie! Wish we could be there ❤️❤️
