Fats and Kristi Rose bring Christmas

Even when they aren't here

We had a lovely tiny holiday gathering last night (more to follow on that). The Christmas magic of it all made me miss our utterly beloved Fats Kaplin and Kristi Rose more than ever. They really have come to mean Christmas to us and to many of our friends. We listened to one of the Aqua-Velvet Christmas cd’s and Fats and Kristi Rose’s own I Wonder As I Wander as we all gathered and laughed and ate and ate (my friends can cook). Fats and Kristi Rose they did our first Christmas show at our house in 2009, and the last, well, hopefully not the last, but the most recent, in 2021.

I never would have dreamed that these two would become such dear, true friends, but they are.
