Biscuit Day #563: the Wisconsin experience and one of my favorite signs ever
Oh, man. That felt good.
We just had what felt like a week long relaxing vacation. It was actually just three days and a stupid amount of driving but that’s not what it felt like. It felt like we were in a different world, just the two of us. We shouldn’t have undertaken another wander so soon and we didn’t really plan to. It’s all Leo’s fault. We had to drive him up to O’Hare so he could jet off and visit his WIFE! And they get to see Pendulum TWICE, once in Manchester and once in London. I hope it’s as wonderful a visit as they deserve, my sweet beloved salt and pepper shakers.
Since we were headed to O’Hare it seemed like a good excuse to continue on our way a bit further north. It turns out hotel rooms in mid March in central Wisconsin are pretty cheap! We went with very little planned, I had two signs I wanted to photograph but that was it. My only regret is we didn’t manage to hang out in a Wisconsin tavern, even though I’d researched and picked out a couple. We did squeeze in a fish fry dinner though, even if it was Door Dashed to our motel room.
